Yokai cereals is a brand designed for
teenagers and kids who like anime, and
kawaii (cute) culture.
The colors chosen were more on the
softer side and each mascot is aimed
to be associated with one of them. The
brand is named Yokai since it is going
to focus on elements from Japanese
mythology for the iconography.
A closer view on how the packaging for the cereal is made. I wanted to give it character so it has games on the back and on one side it provides backstory and fluff information about the mascot associated with it. 
I wanted this to be more than just a cereal brand so there is emphasis on marketing beyond cereal, trying to make these characters beloved mascots where people buy the cereal for them more than the flavor.
